SELECTIVE BREEDING
Crickets (Acheta domesticus) from multiple farms throughout the country were mixed and bred for over 60 generations into a special strain called the “American Mix”. This is why our Acheta domestica have less mortality upon delivery and survive longer after they arrive, up to 8 weeks total lifespan with proper care and nutrition.  We recommend a temperature range of 70-75F during the day and at night to keep their metabolism and immune system functioning properly. These insects are a rich source of protein and when gut loaded properly offer many other nutritional benefits to reptiles. Buy your reptile the best feeder insects for sale online today.

OPTIONS
Feeder Crickets are available in sizes ranging from 1 week old baby crickets (3/16 of an inch) to 6 weeks old adults (1 inch) and in quantities starting at 100. Looking for some alternative feeder insects options? We also offer 250ct 4-week-old crickets and 250ct medium mealworms mixed box. This is a great way to help diversify your reptiles live insect diet. When ordering the mix, both will be packaged loose together in the same box. Or consider a special colorful treat of live hornworms. Looking for just mealworms?  Feeding small reptiles or frogs and looking for an alternative to baby crickets? "Live" Crickets

Posted by Gavin Strader on Jan 12th 2018

Terrible. I gave them two chances. First order or 5 week olds came, I got them about an hour after USPS delivered them to my door. It was 32F outside, guarantee is down to 16F. I had 2 out of 500 that were alive. They are in one box, with screens allowing cold air in. No heat pads, not even any food. I explained this to them and told them I would give them another chance. I ordered some 6 week old, and they were delivered (and left in mailbox) and not a single one is alive. There is nothing on the package like other companies have saying "Do not leave in mailbox". Again, no food or heat. This time it was 42F when delivered. Perhaps if they were overnighted under perfect weather conditiona I would order from Fluker's again, but from now on they won't be getting any more of my money.

Never know what you will get

Posted by Jessica Cook on Jan 10th 2018

I have ordered 2 times now. My first time I ordered 100 crickets, I got 75 dead crickets. They gave me a credit. I wasn't happy at all since I thought this would solve my weekly pet store trip. I forgot I signed up for the subscription so I got my 2nd box. Only about 20-25 dead this time. And to me it doesn't seem like there was 100 crickets in there no way to count them so I do feel ripped off again. Normally not a person that complains or does bad reviews. I'd like to hope that weather is a factor and maybe in spring and summer more will come alive. Also I think I am going to try once more and at more numbers. So hopeful to not have to go to the petstore all the time.

    Expected More

Posted by Lani on Oct 29th 2017

I bought 500 crickets.. first time buying from Fluker Farm i did expect a lot.. was disappointed that out of 500 there was only about 200 alive. The shipping was nice arrived within 5 days of ordering.. I didn’t like the packing, considered I wanted to transfer them into a different tank.. and the packing if you up it the crickets can/will bounce out. Expected a lot more.

    Smaller sized crickets are great!

Posted by Preston Durieux on Oct 23rd 2017

All of the smaller sizes we've ordered we've never had a problem. Always healthy and active. Order 1000 at a time without issue. The large ones on the other hand not son much. Yes, they arrive healthy, but I am not getting what I'm paying for. I ordered 250 on my last batch and received maybe 100.

    Awesome

Posted by Sean on Sep 17th 2017

Always fast delivery. The little worms with them are cleaners. They eat the dead skin from crickets shed. I saw a few bad reviews because of this. I personally prefer to get a few with my order

    Excellent Customer Service

Posted by Elisa Llamido on Sep 13th 2017

I have been ordering crickets from Fluker Farms for the past 6 months or so. There was a problem with my my recent order and I contacted them to let them know. They just wrote back to let me know that they are sending a replacement order today. I could not be happier with the service and will continue to use them and refer others. Highly recommended!

Only four star because some of them were dead. Which makes sense being shipped in the mail.
