SELECTIVE BREEDING
Crickets (Acheta domesticus) from multiple farms throughout the country were mixed and bred for over 60 generations into a special strain called the “American Mix”. This is why our Acheta domestica have less mortality upon delivery and survive longer after they arrive, up to 8 weeks total lifespan with proper care and nutrition.  We recommend a temperature range of 70-75F during the day and at night to keep their metabolism and immune system functioning properly. These insects are a rich source of protein and when gut loaded properly offer many other nutritional benefits to reptiles. Buy your reptile the best feeder insects for sale online today.

OPTIONS
Feeder Crickets are available in sizes ranging from 1 week old baby crickets (3/16 of an inch) to 6 weeks old adults (1 inch) and in quantities starting at 100. Looking for some alternative feeder insects options? We also offer 250ct 4-week-old crickets and 250ct medium mealworms mixed box. This is a great way to help diversify your reptiles live insect diet. When ordering the mix, both will be packaged loose together in the same box. Or consider a special colorful treat of live hornworms. Looking for just mealworms?  Feeding small reptiles or frogs and looking for an alternative to baby crickets? Consider ordering a live Flightless Fruit Flies Culture.

    1000 crickets

Posted by Phil on May 21st 2018

I always got my 1000 crickets at a reptile show, tried Flukers for 1000 crickets...most were alive, so that's good, but when I dumped them out, I must have had 15-20 beetle looking things and about 10 worms...never had additional insects from the reptile show...Crickets lasted about a week less than what I am used to, so I will be going back to the show, or trying a different online place to ship from.

What is going on with Fluker's?

Posted by Lonnie Davis on May 12th 2018

I have been a long time customer of Fluker Farms and a year ago Fluker's was amazing, but lately crickets are arriving dead and/ or looking sick. Over a year ago I was able to keep 3/4 inch crickets alive for months until they were all fed off to my animals, but this year the crickets I order don't last long at all with no change in shipping method (USPS Priority or First Class) or care upon arrival. I hesitate to feed them to my animals now. Something has changed at Fluker's and I hope they figure it out otherwise I will have to find another cricket supplier.

    Crickets

Posted by Heather DeVaisher on Mar 1st 2018

Usually my order comes with most crickets still alive. Past two orders not so good. Most recent order they were delivered a day earlier than the tracking said, on the coldest day of the week, and they were all in shock upon arrival. Only half survived.

    Crickets

Posted by Heather DeVaisher on Feb 16th 2018

I've been ordering crickets from here the past couple of times & they are usually OK. My last order had approx. 50-100 dead and my order before that had a live SPIDER in it... Now I am always cautious when opening the boxes! I just placed another order, so hopefully this one is better or I will be contacting customer service regarding these issues.

The last 2 shipments I received almost all the crickets were dead. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Healthy and fast delivery but beware

Posted by Michelle on Feb 7th 2018

I ordered live crickets for my bearded dragon and they were delivered within 2 days, crickets were alive and in good health BUT they were just out in the tin can they were packaged in. I assumed they would be in a plastic bowl or something but they were just loose so be prepared. I can only imagine the horror for people who order roaches.

Very low live count compared to order

Posted by AG on Feb 2nd 2018

Ordered 500 crickets, got about 120 live crickets, 20 feeder worms and 20 flying beetles (from the worms?). Not worth the cost of shipping to buy from here.
