Soldier Worms, the live larvae of the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens), are a naturally nutritious, protein-packed, calcium-rich treat for your pet. Their balanced Calcium to Phosphorus ratio is ideal for reptiles (without the need for dusting), and can help prevent Metabolic Bone Disease. They also contain natural antimicrobial properties that may help boost your pet’s immunity. While most flies are considered pests, BSF are actually beneficial to the environment as very efficient decomposers of organic waste and a sustainable source of high-quality protein. SHIPPING INFORMATION
For your convenience we offer a variety of shipping methods from Fedex and the United States Postal Service. Please choose the method that is best suited for the conditions in your area. Keep in mind that although Fluker Farms will replace any insects that do not arrive alive (subject to the extreme weather policy outlined above), Fluker Farms DOES NOT guarantee any shipping charges. All shipping charges are final and non refundable. Please inspect your packages upon delivery and contact us immediately with any problems. All live insect claims must be made within 2 business days of delivery. To request a claim, please fill out our credit request form. All claims will be processed within 2 business days.

We ship orders Monday-Friday according to the chart below. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.

Which shipping method should I choose?
We offer a wide variety of options for shipping your live insects. Using the chart above as reference, our customers can choose which shipping service will work best for them. It is important to take into account that transit times vary greatly between the different options. USPS First Class Mail can take up to 7 business days and Fedex Overnight is a one business day in transit service. What works well for some customers will not always work well for others. If it is during the hot summer months or cold winter months we recommend not using USPS First Class Mail because it is the slowest option and increases the risk of receiving your insects DOA. Make sure to check the weather, carefully taking into account transit time and places that your package will travel through. Also important to consider is the price between the shipping methods: USPS First Class Mail is the cheapest, Fedex Priority Overnight is the most expensive with many options in between. We try to provide as much information as possible but it is ultimately up to the customer to make the best choice based on weather and the quality of delivery services available to your area.

BSFL
Best BSFL you can buy if you ask me, I've bought them from at least 3 other locations. They are in actual dirt, which is a love hate for me. They seem to last longer than other providers because of it, but your animal will ingest some dirt. They overstock the tubs for sure, especially on the small size. Just provide some carrots and flaked oats and they last awhile. Bonus when they do turn to flies it if fun to let them loose in my beardie enclosures and watch them go nuts. They are very slow moving dumb flies.

Black solder fly larva is insanely healthy for bearded dragons because of the insane calcium count my problem was pet stores always had dead ones my order came out all alive all 500 will most likely buy again

Good if my toads liked them!
I tried feeding a few to my toads but unfortunately, they didn't like these worms :( Since it's just my toads preference, I'm not giving a bad review. I'm a new toad owner and I was surprised these are so much more different from the usual mealworms I'd get. I left these with my toads overnight, which was a big mistake bc they were able to climb around and some even ended up outside of toads' home haha. Very interesting to me but I ended up giving these to some birds
