Fluker Farms - Live Crickets

Buy Live Crickets - Fluker's Cricket Farm is a premiere online supplier of cheap feeder insects for sale. Crickets are an excellent choice to offer as prey for your reptile and are our best seller.

We are working hard to offer as many sizes and counts as possible. Recent increases in demand have caused our inventory to fluctuate greatly. If we are not currently offering the size and count of crickets you are looking for please consider our alternative feeder insects. Consider our Black Soldier Fly Larvae. They are an excellent feeder option that is high in calcium and are available at a similar price to crickets.

Crickets (Acheta domesticus) from multiple farms throughout the country were mixed and bred for over 60 generations into a special strain called the “American Mix”. This is why our Acheta domestica have less mortality upon delivery and survive longer after they arrive, up to 8 weeks with proper care and nutrition.  We recommend a temperature range of 70-75F during the day and at night to keep their metabolism and immune system functioning properly. These insects are a rich source of protein and when gut loaded properly offer many other nutritional benefits to reptiles. Buy your reptile the best feeder insects for sale online today.

Crickets are available in sizes ranging from 1 week old (3/16 of an inch) to 6 weeks old (1 inch) and in box counts starting at 100. Looking for alternative feeder insects? We also offer 250ct 4-week-old crickets and 250ct medium mealworms mixed box. This is a great way to help diversify your reptiles live insect diet. When ordering the mix, both will be packaged loose together in the same box. Looking for just mealworms?  Feeding small reptiles or frogs? Consider ordering a live Flightless Fruit Flies Culture.

Help your feeder insects live longer and provide more nutrition to your reptiles with Fluker's feeder insect supplements. Check out our Orange Cube Complete Cricket Diet for a complete all in one food and water source. We also have two quencher products available, Original Quencher and Quencher with Calcium. Combine Fluker's Hi-Cal Cricket Diet with our quencher products to give you insects the nutrition your reptile requires.

During the winter months, we recommend checking our shipping information page before ordering live crickets or any other live insects. Cold temperatures can greatly impact the odds of receiving your crickets live and healthy. See our Live Delivery Guarantee before placing your order.

Live Delivery Guarantee Winter
Fluker Farms guarantees live delivery when temperatures are as low as 16 degrees at the destination and/or regional sort facilities during estimated transit times. While most insect growers simply refuse to ship at temperatures below this threshold, Fluker Farms recognizes how much you rely on live insect for your pet’s nourishment and feel you should have a choice in the matter. Therefore, we provide the following options when the weather drops to 0-15 degrees (we will not ship to any areas below 0 degrees).

1) Ship Without Guarantee (SWG)-You can choose to have your insects shipped when the night time temperatures are between 0-15 degrees by selecting the SWG option, however, we cannot guarantee live delivery and NO REFUND will be given for insects that do not arrive alive.
2) Hold For Weather (HFW)-If you choose the HFW option, your order may be held up to 7 days while we wait on improved shipping conditions. If after 7 days the weather doesn’t improve enough for your order to be shipped, it will be cancelled and any charges refunded.

For your convenience we offer a variety of shipping methods from Fedex and the United States Postal Service. Please choose the method that is best suited for the conditions in your area. Keep in mind that although Fluker Farms will replace any insects that do not arrive alive (subject to the extreme weather policy outlined above), Fluker Farms DOES NOT guarantee any shipping charges. All shipping charges are final and non refundable. Please inspect your packages upon delivery and contact us immediately with any problems. All live insect claims must be made within 2 business days of delivery. To request a claim, please fill out our credit request form. All claims will be processed within 2 business days.

Which shipping method should I choose?
We offer a wide variety of options for shipping your live insects. Using the chart above as reference, our customers can choose which shipping service will work best for them. It is important to take into account that transit times vary greatly between the different options. USPS First Class Mail can take up to 7 business days and Fedex Overnight is a one business day in transit service. What works well for some customers will not always work well for others. If it is during the hot summer months or cold winter months we recommend not using USPS First Class Mail because it is the slowest option and increases the risk of receiving your insects DOA. Make sure to check the weather, carefully taking into account transit time and places that your package will travel through. Also important to consider is the price between the shipping methods: USPS First Class Mail is the cheapest, Fedex Priority Overnight is the most expensive with many options in between. We try to provide as much information as possible but it is ultimately up to the customer to make the best choice based on weather and the quality of delivery services available to your area.

My family and I love using Fluker's Cricket Farm for our bearded dragon. I have compared their prices to other farms and after shipping, I have yet to find a farm that beats them. The quality and shipment of the insects is fantastic. I always receive my insects early, with the regular shipping method. I would recommend this farm to anyone.

So glad that Flukers mails out live crickets. I can go to the pet store and spend $20 on 120 crickets that will last me 2-3 or order here and get 500 crickets that will last me over a week. I only wish that the faster shipping didn't cost as much. Other than that they always come to me alive and well and as long as you take care of them that vast majority stay alive for a long time.

My dad and I were looking for bait for our upcoming fishing trip when he saw Fluker's on the map nearby. He said, "Cricket farm. Huh." Since the bait shop wasn't what we expected, we decided to stop by and "See some crickets." My dad, expecting a few bins of crickets, drove his son, filled with anticipation, to the back entrance (whoops) of Fluker's Cricket Farms, Inc. at Port Allen, Louisiana. When my dad rolled down the window to ask if his son could see a few crickets, I got a few looks, (rightfully so, it's not everyday you see someone my age rolling up to a cricket farm to ask to see some crickets) but was quickly helped by the manager of the farm, Troy. He helped us with a smile on his face, entertaining my father with endless facts about crickets. Both of us were giddy the entire time, mostly spouting phrases like "Awesome," "Cool," and "Wow." We were dumbfounded by the sheer amount of not only crickets present on the facility, but fruit flies, mealworms, superworms, soldierworms, and my personal favorite: Madagascan hissing cockroaches. And each in bountiful supply. In summation: Amazing service, Troy is awesome, check out the amazing diamond in the rough that is Fluker's Cricket Farms, Inc. at Port Allen, Louisiana.
