Product Description

Fluker's High-Calcium Dubia Roach Diet is a premium formula designed for "gut-loading" feeder roaches to increase their vitamin and mineral content prior to offering them as prey to your pet. Invertebrates, such as roaches, are deficient in calcium. Over time, this deficiency can lead to poor bone growth in reptiles. To prevent this, it is important to feed your pet reptile gut-loaded roaches. Gut-loading ensures the calcium reaches appropriate levels. This allows insect-eating pets to benefit from both the nutritional value of the roach itself and the insect's nutrient-rich gut content. This veterinarian-formulated diet has been clinically proven to establish a positive calcium-to-phosphorus ratio live roaches when fed as directed. Store in a cool, dry place. Feed should be stored in a well-ventilated, dry area protected from rodents and insects. Feed is perishable. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed as it may cause illness or death.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:
Feed as the primary source of food to roaches. Offer fresh food daily. To ensure optimal nutrition and calcium intake, let your roaches feed on the diet for 24 hours before offering to your pet. *It is not advised to keep sliced potatoes or other sources of moisture in the roach container during gut-loading. Roaches will prefer to eat this instead of gut-loading on the diet itself. If you are keeping your roaches longer than one week, you may offer them Fluker's Cricket Quencher twice a week to prevent drowning. Cricket Quencher provides the roaches a sufficient source of moisture without the risk of them drowning in a water bowl. Wash hands after use.
