Cypress Bedding is designed for tropical terrariums. Our twice-milled cypress resists mold and decay and is breeder-tested and recommended. Ideal for frogs, snakes, lizards, and other reptiles. Although cypress bedding is recommended for high-humidity habitats, it can also be used for desert or low-humidity. For a desert habitat, keep the substrate relatively dry. Fluker recommends using our thermometer and hygrometer in your terrarium to monitor your pet's enclosure. Refer to your local pet professional or care guide to determine the proper substrate for your pet.

DIRECTIONS:

Pour the desired amount of substrate into the terrarium or enclosure. Spread evenly over the floor to achieve the desired thickness (minimum of one inch). For burrowing species, use at least 4 inches of substrate. This allows your pet ample space to create burrowing tunnels. For higher quality enclosures, use at least two to three inches of substrate.

It can also be used for arachnids such as tarantulas and scorpions.

CAUTION:

Take precaution to avoid accidental ingestion of any substrate. Feeding your pet from a bowl within the enclosure will reduce accidental substrate ingestion. For snakes, it is recommended to feed them in a separate enclosure.
