St. Jude's Dream Day  Annual Fishin' Galore Event

St. Jude's annual Fishin' Galore event is held in May every year. Annually, over 100 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital patients and their families enjoy this event. With the help of many volunteers, patients and family members enjoy fishing, arts and crafts, petting zoo fun, and face painting. Fluker's has been a proud sponsor of this event since 2015.

Point Coupee 4-H Annual Kid's Fishing Rodeo

Fluker's has partnered with Point Coupe 4-H for their annual fishing rodeo since 2018. All 4Her's and their families are welcome for a morning of fishing and fellowship. No experience is needed. Prizes are given for the biggest, most, and smallest fish.

Wildlife & Fisheries Annual National Hunting & Fishing Day

On the 4th Saturday of every September, NHF Day recognizes generations of sportsmen and women for their contributions to the conservation of natural resources and ensuring their proper management for the benefit of future generations. Since 2015, Fluker's has donated to this event.

East Ascension Sportsman League Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo

For over 60 years, kids and families have gathered annually for this fishing rodeo. This league is dedicated to conserving and managing our natural resources so they can be preserved for future generations to enjoy. Fluker's has proudly sponsored this event since 2016.

2024 Atelier de la Nature Halloween Art & Nature Festival

This is Fluker's first year of participation in this annual event, where we sponsored a Cricket Spitting Contest and edible insects! This year's theme was "Creepy Crawlers" inspired by the 1960's activity game that taught children how to cast plastic insects and other "creepy" bugs out of molds. The event raised awareness and appreciation of local biodiversity and the importance of insects to our ecosystem.
