Safe Disposal of Live Insects

Fluker's is proud to offer a variety of gut-loaded live feeder insects as well as an extended line of diet and nutrition and other feeder and pet essentials to help you take the best possible care of your pets. In addition, we also provide specific care guides and video tutorials for both pets and feeder insects.
Pet ownership is a privilege that comes with responsibility. We want to remind you to never release your pet or live feeder insects into the wild as they can be harmful to the native environment.
The ethical and legal solution for your pet is to re-home it or bring it to a shelter.

But what should you do with live insects that you don't intend to use as feeders?

DO NOT RELEASE

To dispose of live feeder insects responsibly, follow these 3 steps:

• Place unwanted insects in an escape-proof bag or container
• Freeze for at least 24 hours
• Dispose of in the garbage can

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Some feeders such as Hornworms are shipped with feed that contains soy, milk and wheat.
