Coconut Fiber Bedding is an ideal bedding for maintaining a tropical habitat's proper humidity and it absorbs moisture with little decay. Perfect for frogs, toads, tortoises, box turtles and other terrestrial turtles, forest dwelling lizards and snakes and all types of invertebrates. Coconut Fiber Bedding is also a good medium for egg laying and incubation. Coconut Fiber Bedding is made from coconut husks and can be safely composted in your garden or potted plants.

Directions:
To prepare Compressed Coconut Fiber Bedding, place the compressed brick in bucket or sink. Add 4 quarts of hot water. Allow the brick to expand for 20-30 minutes.
For tropical/forest-dwelling animals: Remove and wring out the extra moisture until the desired level of wetness is achieved.
For dry/desert animals: Remove and wring out the extra moisture, spread it apart, and place it in the sun until dry. Place into the enclosure.

CAUTION:
Take precaution to avoid accidental ingestion of any substrate. Feeding your pet from a bowl within the enclosure will reduce accidental substrate ingestion. For snakes, it is recommended to feed them in a separate enclosure.
