SELECTIVE BREEDING
Crickets (Acheta domesticus) from multiple farms throughout the country were mixed and bred for over 60 generations into a special strain called the “American Mix”. This is why our Acheta domestica have less mortality upon delivery and survive longer after they arrive, up to 8 weeks total lifespan with proper care and nutrition.  We recommend a temperature range of 70-75F during the day and at night to keep their metabolism and immune system functioning properly. These insects are a rich source of protein and when gut loaded properly offer many other nutritional benefits to reptiles. Buy your reptile the best feeder insects for sale online today.

OPTIONS
Feeder Crickets are available in sizes ranging from 1 week old baby crickets (3/16 of an inch) to 6 weeks old adults (1 inch) and in quantities starting at 100. Looking for some alternative feeder insects options? We also offer 250ct 4-week-old crickets and 250ct medium mealworms mixed box. This is a great way to help diversify your reptiles live insect diet. When ordering the mix, both will be packaged loose together in the same box. Or consider a special colorful treat of live hornworms. Looking for just mealworms?  Feeding small reptiles or frogs and looking for an alternative to baby crickets? Live Crickets

Posted by Brittany Sweet on Jun 29th 2021

This service is awesome! It was my first time ordering crickets online and I will be signing up for weekly deliveries now. All crickets were alive and well when they showed up and all the correct size (No little tiny ones). They also came super fast which was great because I had been out of crickets for almost a week! Needless to say, Fluker's is awesome!

    amount of crickets

Posted by rey tamminen on Jun 13th 2021

every week we order 250 3/8” crickets and my lizard LOVES them, but we don’t get as many crickets as we order. when we feed him, we count the amount of crickets he eats so he doesn’t overeat (we count until 40). he runs out of crickets in 2-3 days, meaning we only get 80-120 crickets per order and not 250.

    Good quality, some problems though

Posted by Graciela Bustamante on Jun 1st 2021

This was my QST time buying online, my neighborhood petstore was getting pricey with Gerald (our bearded dragon) growing so much and eating about 45-60 small crickets a day. I liked that I was able to purchase so many, but here were the issues: 1.) Some (a lot) arrived dead, but it still saved me money, I paid $18 for 500 and I would pay $18 for 200 locally. I have fed Gerald at least 4 days and still have quite a bit left. 2.) There were other insects in the box, 3 small black worms and some fruit flies. 3.) There were at least 5 huge crickets that scared the beegeezus out of me as I tried to get them out of the canister. 4.) I live where it is pretty hot right now 100° and it will get hotter through August and humid so, I might have to really contemplate if ordering will be a good idea. But, when it gets fresher I would probably order again.

This company has great customer service. Not getting into detail but my order got screwed up (probably unintentionally mistake), but without hesitations, my order was fixed and just got my crickets in the mail today. 99% alive! I can now start my cricket colony. Thank you!

    pandemic BS

Posted by jeff kris on Dec 22nd 2020

just like all the other company exploiting this bogus pandemic, now crickets are shortage. consider, breeding crickets is about the easiest thing to do. from laying the eggs to 1inch size. its about 6 to 8 weeks, so explain how their can be a shortage? very disappointed with the exploiting of this. 2 other online cricket farmers have no problem selling you a 1000 so long.

Cintapede died a day after eating from this batch. Tarantulas seem fine. Box had carpet beetles also.

    Fast shipping and alive

Posted by Deserea Loucks on Nov 7th 2020

I live over 60 miles from anywhere that sells crickets and the last few times I went there they didn't even have any. So to be able to order crickets and have them come in three days is amazing and they were almost all alive. Especially with winter coming this is a game changer for sure.
